Lady Rams set for success

MINERAL WELLS — The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word team as “a number of people associated together through an activity.” In the past, that’s always been how it is for the Lady Rams; a group of girls that come together to play a game they all love.

Hometown Hero

MINERAL WELLS — Our first Hometown Heroes are pint-sized and packed with girl power! Kenzi Woolf, 9, Brynn Paxston, 9, and Brentlie Coffman, 8, represent Mineral Wells on the Black Widows flag football team. Last weekend they played in the first all-girls flag football tournament held in an NFL arena at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Friday night football is back

The Mineral Wells Rams play their first home game of the season against the Castleberry Lions, Aug. 26. In the spirit of community engagement, Mineral Wells High School student reporters are on board with the Palo Pinto Press covering sports.
