Let’s Grow Crazy President

Have you heard about Let’s Grow Crazy? If not, you’re in the right place. Let’s Grow Crazy (LGC) is a local 501c3 non-profit that is building a community garden and hosts a twice monthly farmer’s market from April through October.

LGC’s official purpose, mission & vision are: Purpose – to increase awareness and opportunities for locally grown food options.

Mission – to promote chemical free food gardening that improves nutrition, health and self-reliance in our community. Our green garden spaces are for schools, individuals and families to come learn, grow and socialize.

Vision – We see community gardens in all neighborhoods where everyone is welcome to come build healthy habits and connect with one another.

e thing is, even though those words are a large part of LGC’s guiding principles, there’s so much more to this budding organization than those words reflect. Let’s Grow Crazy is building a strong local food system, beautiful gardens and a powerful community network where everyone is welcome.

LGC believes everyone has something to contribute and that their contributions are valuable. In this era of division and conflict we are witnessing, LGC is working tirelessly to not only grow, learn and educate our community, but also to draw people back together again.

We wholeheartedly believe we are far more alike than we are different and working side-byside to build and grow this community will help us remember we are all in this life together. Because many hands make light work, your hands are wanted and needed.
