● Aug. 26 – CHAMBER NIGHT AT RAM STADIUM. Join the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce in the Ram Stadium press box for the 2022 season home opener. Networking and food at 6 p.m. Game time 7 p.m. Tickets are $25.
● Aug. 26 – MINERAL WELLS SENIOR CENTER DANCE. 7-10 p.m. with the Michael Cote Band and Bryan Daniel. $5 entry.100 N.W. 6th Ave.
● Aug. 27 – NIGHT AT THE OPERA HOUSE: DUMBO. Head to Tarleton State University’s WK Gordon Center for a free showing of the 1941 classic film “Dumbo.” This showing starts at 6 p.m., reservations are recommended. ● Aug. 27 – STARGAZING THE TEXAS NIGHT SKY. 9-10:30 p.m. Observe stars, planets and constellation through the park telescopes. Learn about constellations and basic astronomy.
This is a come-and-go event at the Lone Star Amphitheater in Lake Mineral Wells State Park, 100 Park Road 71, Mineral Wells, TX, 76067. The program is free with paid park entrance fee or a State Park Pass.

● Sept. 1 – CRAZY DOG PARK GROUNDBREAKING. Join Leadership Mineral Wells Class 27 as it breaks ground at 11:30 a.m. At the planned Crazy Dog Park, located at 116 N.W. 4th Street, behind the Crazy Water Hotel.
● Sept. 3-4 – MODEL TRAIN SHOW. Clark Gardens Botanical Park is once again hosting its Model Train Show with North Texas Garden Railroad Club (G Gauge) and North Texas T Trak (N Scale). These clubs will display their trains and have loads of track with different loops and auto switching displays. A fantastic variety of food trucks will satisfy your appetite. There’s also face painting, trackless train rides, boutiques, and more. Purchase tickets the day of the event at Clark Gardens. ● Sept. 9 – FRIDAY FORUM. Make plans to attend the monthly Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce Friday Forum luncheon at Holiday Hills Golf Club. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. with the program at noon. This months featured speaker is Bill Leatherton with the Tarleton State University Small Business Development Center. ● Sept. 23 – TEMPTING DISASTER. Check out this band on the patio at Taqueria La Estrella, 200 NE 27th Avenue, from 6-9:30 p.m.
● Sept. 23-25 – TEXAS OUTDOOR FAMILY OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP TRAINING. TOF is a program designed by Texas State Parks to reintroduce people to the sport of camping by making it easy to try. TOF provides all the camping essentials for each family that has a reservation with us for our scheduled programs. This gear includes a quality tent, cots, sleeping pads, stove, lantern, pots, pans, and more! The program also includes demonstrations on how to use the gear and hosts recreational activities specific to the resources at each park. This event takes place at Lake Mineral Wells State Park. ● Sept. 24 – DOG PARTY. Join Leadership Mineral Wells Class 27 for its Crazy Dog Park “Dog Party” at Poston’s Square downtown, from 5-8 p.m. Bring your pups and your kids for cute contests (for the pups) and face painting (for the humans)! Friends of Mineral Wells Shelter Pets will also be there with lots of sweet furbabies needing furever homes! Food trucks will be there for all your foody needs.
● Sept. 29 – 97th ANNUAL CHAMBER BANQUET. The Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce will stage its 97th Annual Awards Banquet at Crazy Water Hotel, with title sponsor First Financial Bank, and entertainment sponsor Vyve Business Services. Join us as we celebrate the past year with recognitions and awards, followed by entertainment by “American Idol” alum and hometown star Casey James.
